UNITECH International Scholarship Program is provided by UNITECH International, which is a corporation between 17 industry partners and 8 European universities. It was established in 2000 in order to develop a group of talented young engineers and give them the possibility to successfully manage future challenges, and that is through a blend of exchange semesters, industry internships, tutoring, and workshops.
The Program Structure:
The duration of the UNITECH International Scholarship Program is one year. It starts with a kick-off week in August arranged as a coaching experience and hosted by a different university every year. Subsequently, candidates proceed to their host university to spend the semester there and to develop a project with an industry associate.
In January, there is the Midterm week which is seen as the changeover stage between the study and internship, and it is also arranged as a coaching experience at one of the eight European universities.
At the conclusion of the program, a graduation ceremony is arranged where the UNITECH candidates obtain their UNITECH diploma and celebrate their achievement.
Eligibility for UNITECH International Scholarship Program
Due to its high-performance prospects, not everyone is qualified to become a part of the UNITECH International Scholarship Program. The UNITECH Program is only available to full-time students of the UNITECH partner universities. As a UNITECH candidate, you have to be registered at your home university and pay your tuition fee there. You are not required to pay a tuition fee at your host institution. Students from non-partner universities cannot participate in the UNITECH International Scholarship Program.
English is the global business language and all UNITECH candidates must possess an adept knowledge of English (spoken and written). At the various UNITECH partner universities and the Corporate Partners, the level of proficiency of the native language needed varies.
